Wednesday February 27.
The Trocks are in Belfast. Tonight our last show here in the UK.
To me then the honor of saying good bye to the UK audience, that has been great as always.
As I said in my previous blog the reactions of the British audiences are difficult to forget and this time too they have proved me right. This was the first tour in this wonderful country for a lot of the new members of the company. All of them were impressed by the warmth and enthusiasm of the British people that show year after year, or better said tour after tour, how much they love the Trocks…and we love you back!!
I would like to thank, once again but never enough, the UK Dance Consortium, in particular Heather Knight, for the wonderful tour. We had a post show reception last night during which she thanked the Trocks and mentioned how easy it is to travel with us and organize our tours. I have to say that the Direction of the Trocks (Tory Dobrin and Isabel Martinez) together with our organization staff work very hard to make this company a “fun and easy to work with” one, but the success of this particular tour is also due to the expertise of the Dance Consortium.
Every aspect of the tour is wonderfully organized, from the accommodation always very comfortable to the traveling made as easy as possible (also thanks to Ian, the truck driver). So, once again, my personal thank you to our “fearless” leaders of Ballets Trockadero, Heather Knight and the “dream staff” of Dance Consortium.
Bye for now. But no worries, The Trocks will keep on Trocking and I am sure we will be back to the UK to Trock some more very soon!
